''Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction".-Albert Einstin

Albert Einstein lived through World War II. He stayed in Germany for the first part of the war. He moved to Italy in the middle of the war and then came to America. But the only reason he stayed in Germany in the first place was because his parents wanted the best education for him. But he had a secret life; he helped with the nuclear bomb. Within this amazing genius was a plan, more powerful, more destructive than any other plan. But he kept it from the Germans. He made this destructive weapon because he was so mad at Germany. He disagreed with the entire war, he hated destruction, he hated death and he was mad at his country. But he told America about this weapon, but after he did, he pleaded with America to not use this destructive weapon. He said it was too powerful to use and that it could destroy the whole world. I believe that Albert Einstin was a genius.

Mrs. Luce:Hi Maxx, nice job! Do you believe what Einstein said about it taking a lot of courage to move toward peace? I wonder how children and adults can do that....
Ms. diCurcio:Hi Maxx, That is an awesome quote from A. Einstein; it really gives us something to think about... Great job on your page. I didn't know how torn Einstein was about his home country and the knowledge he had about the bomb. Thanks for a nice piece of writing.
