Adolfo was born on November,26,1931. He grew up in in Argentina. When he was alive, Argentina's president was murdered, World War II was going on, and he tried to free prisoners that didn't get a trial or any chance to defend themselves. These were just some of the things that might have driven him to say this quote. But in 1977, he was imprisoned, and the reason wasn't released to the public. Then in the Spring of 1978, he was released. In 1980, he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his eforts to stand up for human rights! He is still alive today.
